Join OAP and The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce at our May 6th Convening and meet speaker Carrie Rathmann!
Carrie started at Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia in December of 2013 as Director of Strategic Partnerships where she does long-range community planning, advocacy, government relations, construction industry engagement and development. She joined the Habitat team after a five- year tenure as Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, another volunteer-driven housing organization that provides critical repairs for low-income homeowners.
Carrie has also worked with the Center for Healthy Housing developing tools, programming and evaluations for engaging volunteers in carrying out healthy home repairs. Prior to working in affordable housing, Carrie was assistant director of PHILADELPHIA READS, a local literacy organization. She started her career teaching in the Baltimore City Public School system.
Carrie is a native Philadelphian and a booster of the city’s vibrant and diverse, yet often underserved communities where Habitat is building and stabilizing homes for low-income families.
